Readings

This page is a modest attempt to start an archive of audio recordings of portions of Finnegans Wake. These currently include readings by:

James Joyce: recorded during the composition of Finnegans Wake.
Simon Loekle: from his "As I Please – Year Out Wake Show" radio program, broadcast on WBAI, part of what may well be "the longest and slowest-moving serialisation in the history of radio", in which Finnegans Wake was read out at a rate of about 8–17 pages a year, on the last Saturday of each year, for more than ten years, until Simon's untimely death.

If you know of other recordings which can be legally archived here (this is primarily the case if you are the one doing the readings), please let me know.
