Readings

This page is a modest attempt to start an archive of audio recordings of portions of Finnegans Wake. These currently include readings by:

James Joyce: recorded during the composition of Finnegans Wake.
Simon Loekle: from his "As I Please – Year Out Wake" radio program, broadcast on WBAI, part of what may well be "the longest serialisation in the history of radio", in which Finnegans Wake is being read out at a rate of about 10–15 pages a year, on the last Saturday of each year, for at least twenty years now.

If you know of other recordings which can be legally archived here (this is primarily the case if you are the one doing the readings), please let me know.
